Measurements

Size guide

Every number below is taken flat on the garment, not on a body. Allow up to 2cm variation between pieces.

How to use this

Take a garment you already like the fit of, lay it flat, and measure it. Then match those numbers to the table below. That works far better than measuring yourself, because these are garment measurements, not body measurements.

Chest and waist figures are the flat measurement doubled. Length runs from the highest point of the shoulder to the hem for tops, and from the top of the waistband to the hem for skirts.

Puff-sleeve tops

Size Chest Shoulder Length Sleeve
XS 92 cm 36 cm 55 cm 44 cm
S 96 cm 37 cm 56 cm 45 cm
M 100 cm 38 cm 57 cm 46 cm
L 106 cm 39.5 cm 58.5 cm 47 cm
XL 112 cm 41 cm 60 cm 48 cm

Sleeves are gathered, so the measurement is taken along the outer seam from shoulder to cuff. Tops are cut with ease through the body so they layer under a pinafore bib.

Pinafore skirts, overalls and layered minis

Size Waist Hip Skirt length
XS 64 cm 90 cm 40 cm
S 68 cm 94 cm 41 cm
M 72 cm 98 cm 42 cm
L 78 cm 104 cm 43 cm
XL 84 cm 110 cm 44 cm

Pinafore straps adjust by roughly 8 cm at the buckle or button. Skirt length is measured at the shortest point of a ruffled or tiered hem.

Bags, charms, collars and cuffs

These are one size. Approximate dimensions are given on each product page — mini bags run between 14 cm and 22 cm across, detachable collars fit a neckline of 36 cm to 44 cm, and lace cuffs have an elasticated inner edge that stretches from 18 cm to 26 cm.

Between sizes?

For puff-sleeve tops, size down — they are cut generously. For pinafores and minis, size up, because the waistband has no stretch.
